Sukoon Care & Support Ltd delivers recovery-focused supported living for adults living with mental health conditions — across Sheffield, the wider South Yorkshire region and neighbouring areas. We help people hold onto their own front door key, rebuild their confidence, and get on with living.
Welcome to Sukoon Care & Support
Sukoon means calm — and that is what we set out to build with every person we support: a settled home, a steady routine, and a team who turn up when they say they will.
We support adults aged 18 and over, including older adults aged 65 and above, who are living with mental health conditions. Our support is delivered in people’s own homes, under their own tenancy or licence agreements, entirely separate from the arrangements for their care. That separation matters — it means the home belongs to the person, not to us.
We work in line with the NHS Community Mental Health Framework for Adults and Older Adults, the Mental Health Act 1983 Code of Practice, the Mental Capacity Act 2005, and NICE guidance for mental health care, applying recovery-focused models.
For Commissioning Teams
You need a provider who answers the phone, evidences outcomes, and does not hand a placement back when it gets difficult. We offer flexible packages from a few hours a week to 24-hour commissioned support, transparent governance, and a Registered Manager who knows every person on our caseload by name.
For Families & Carers
You have probably had to fight to be heard before. You will not have to here. We will tell you what is happening, involve you in reviews wherever your relative agrees, and pick up the phone when you are worried — not just when something has gone wrong.

A Team That Knows Mental Health
From our management through to every support worker, our people are trained in the Mental Health Act 1983, the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and DoLS, Mental Health First Aid, suicide and self-harm prevention, trauma-informed care, de-escalation, positive behavioural support and dual diagnosis awareness. Genuine Tenancy Rights
We support people in their own homes in line with the principles of the Real Tenancy Test, ensuring genuine tenancy rights and a clear separation between tenancy and support. Tenancies are sourced close to local amenities, with good transport links and access to Community Mental Health Teams, crisis teams and primary care.
